'Bodies'

exploring the relationship between that which we consider bodily and unbodily, organic and inorganic, with the understanding that the word organic can come to mean both of living matter and relating to its shapes, forms and irregular contours. ‘bodies’ is a series of sculptures reproduced from a single mould using processes designed for perfect mimicking - manipulated so that they appear more organic and circumstantial. The resulting altered forms all have characteristics that one might consider bodily, some have folds and appear to be slouching under their own weight, others have missing sections reminiscent of orifices all while remaining distinctly inorganic
